Karen L. Carleton, M.Ed, M.S., works full-time as a learning and development coordinator in Edmonton. An educator by profession, Karen has taught adults and delivered training in private, public, and non-profit organizations. A published author in the Performance Improvement Journal, she has presented at conferences for career development practitioners and organizational performance practitioners.

Les Brost is a third generation owner/operator of a large successful family ranch in southeastern Alberta. His practical approach to problem solving grew out of his early years as a rancher in the family business and continues in his interest in rural development and renewal.
