Les Brost

Les Brost is a third generation owner/operator of a large successful family ranch in southeastern Alberta. His practical approach to problem solving grew out of his early years as a rancher in the family business and continues in his interest in rural development and renewal. He is also a speaker on conflict management.

Greg Andrukow

Greg Andrukow is the owner and CEO of an independent ag-retailer in east-central Alberta. As a speaker, Greg addresses issues in family-owned businesses.

Dave Mowat

Dave Mowat is a banker, drawn to the business 30 years ago by a keen interest in the financial industry and kept there by his love for getting the customer the best deal. As a keynote speaker, he addresses retention, recruiting, and HR management in an entertaining and engaging manner.

About this Project

e Strategic HR is a collection of human resource information compiled for use by Alberta's agri-food industry by the Agriculture & Food Council. The work completed here was initiated as part of a larger strategic initiative in human resources designed to address some of the challenges faced by Alberta agri-food with respect to recruiting and retaining quality employees at all levels of value chain.
