e Strategic HR was built with a single idea in mind: the idea that by collecting as much relevant information on the topic of HR in agriculture, production, processing, and beyond into one online and free-to-use resource, you could spend your time fixing problems and managing your business instead of searching for help.

Our directory was built by the Agriculture and Food Council of Alberta, and the same team that brought you the kudos-earning, multi-million-hit student career website, Soil to Sky.

We are officially online as of 2010, and already lots of people have found and used our information. So, what can we help you with today? Why not try going back to the front page and starting by looking through lists of programs, services, speakers, and insights for human resources.

Keep in mind that we’ve just launched and there are still lots of gaps in our information. But the framework is all there.. and maybe you can help!

About this Project

e Strategic HR is a collection of human resource information compiled for use by Alberta's agri-food industry by the Agriculture & Food Council. The work completed here was initiated as part of a larger strategic initiative in human resources designed to address some of the challenges faced by Alberta agri-food with respect to recruiting and retaining quality employees at all levels of value chain.
