From Good… to Great: Best Practices in Career Development (Building Tomorrow Today, 15th Regional Consultation for Career Development)

Updated: December 21, 2009

Event Profile
Building Tomorrow Today is an annual event that focuses on helping attendees move from good to great in their best practices. BTT has an annual registration of approximately 600 delegates and is known as the place to be for cutting edge career development information, resources and contacts. BTT provides a venue for interactive consultation among practitioners in all areas of career development, including educators, policy makers, counsellors, industry, representatives of equality groups, government and others interested in the multifaceted world of career development. It is an opportunity to learn about new developments in the field, discover new resources, share experiences, learn new skills, and expand professional networks.

BTT began in 1994 in response to a need for more readily available training and professional development opportunities for career practitioners. The intention was to create a tradition of a predictable, practical focused event which would offer leading edge and hot-off-the-press tools and resources, a glimpse of what was on the horizon in the career development profession, and possible directions for the future.
